On top of that, we run servers around the clock so your 7 AM medication reminder goes out at 7 AM sharp, not whenever a server feels like waking up. Those costs are real, and they happen every single time a text is sent.
So each reminder costs about ten cents. A dime. For that dime, a real text lands on any phone, with no app, no wifi, and no smartphone required, at the exact moment it matters. Then it is done. We think that is a pretty great deal, especially compared to a cup of coffee that somehow costs six dollars now and is cold by the time you remember you ordered it.
